Mathias Boedecker (Geodata infrastructure, City of Leipzig): Digital Twin Leipzig – From buzzword to digital tool
The “Connected Urban Twins” funding project laid the foundation for the Leipzig Digital Twin in 2021. With the project now complete, it is time for a brief summary. In this presentation, GeodatenService Leipzig shows how the buzzword “digital twin” has given rise to concrete digital tools. We provide insights into the underlying technology and the associated processes, demonstrate the practical relevance using selected use cases, and take a look at the next steps.
-
Julia Werra (Syncwork AG): AI-ready data – the foundation for real AI success
AI-ready data forms the indispensable basis for successful AI initiatives, as unclear data quality and a lack of transparency are among the most common reasons for project failure. A structured 360° view of the data landscape reveals existing data treasures, enables realistic use case evaluations, and provides clarity about potential and gaps. The FAIR criteria serve as a framework for sustainable and high-performance data quality. By focusing on data maturity measures, which range from data inventory and maturity assessment to the derivation of concrete measures, the path to a robust database is systematically outlined. Supplemented by practical experience and lessons learned, we show how companies can optimize their data landscape in a targeted manner and thus ensure the future viability of data-driven AI projects.
