- | Ratsplenarsaal | German

Franziska Brenner (Come2Data), Franziska Korb-King (Come2Data) and Paul Renninger (Come2Data)

The Come2Data project, which is funded as part of the federal government’s digital strategy (BMBF/NextGenerationEU), aims to establish a data competence centre in Saxony with comprehensive services. This centre will make existing training and support services in the areas of data integration, data management, data analysis and data publication accessible to a wide range of target groups from research to public institutions and promote the professional handling of data throughout the entire data life cycle.

The workshop will focus on practical data problems. Based on the presentation of project partners from the Come2Data data competence centre, possibilities for solving specific problems and dealing with data in a structured way will be demonstrated. Problem areas include, for example, the integration of heterogeneous databases or data preparation for analyses. In addition, the workshop offers a suitable framework for exchanging and networking with those present about hurdles and solutions. You can also present your own data problem in the workshop and put it up for discussion. Please get in touch with the Data Week organisers.
